Visakhapatnam a Booming IT City with 17 New Companies

The Andhra Pradesh government in an initiative to uplift the IT sector in Visakhapatnam inaugurated 17 new IT and ITes companies at a go. These companies are expected to generate an employment of 10,170  and an investment of INR 558.70 crores.

The government has opened its door and encourages diverse investment opportunities to companies ranging from startups to multinationals. It is establishing a 1400 acre IT mega park in Kapuluppada that is in outskirts of Visakhapatnam. It is located on a small hill and jobs are created for 5 lakh IT professionals, who can live and work and they are provided with all the amenities like housing and schools.

Companies like  Cerium Systems Pvt. Ltd., Conduent Business Services India LLP., CES Ltd., Inspire Edge IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Sahasramaaya Technologies Inc., Valenta KPO accounting Pvt. Ltd., Belfrics Cryptex Pvt. Ltd., Sweya Information Technologies LLP, Vivilex Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Inn Data Analytics Pvt. Ltd., Insoteam Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd., Nueve Solutions LLC, HR Square Staffing Solutions,Envoy Mortgage, Hippocampus, and Patra India BPO Services Pvt. Ltd has been inaugurated by the IT minister and has started their operations.

Patra Corp Coo confirmed that the company would add 1,000 jobs in Vizag and it is expected to be the largest workforce in the next one year. On the initiatives taken by the government, in addition to developing the technology sector in Visakhapatnam, it will support the IT industry in the cities of Tirupati, Amravati, and Anantapura.
