This cluster will be part of the larger Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC) project, designed to support the “Make in India” initiative by growing local manufacturing and attracting international investment.
The agreements for this new IMC in Gaya were signed on November 12, 2024, marking a historic step in Bihar’s path to economic growth and job creation. Key officials, including Shri Nitish Mishra, Bihar’s Minister for the Department of Industries, Smt. Bandana Preyashi, IAS Secretary of the Department of Industries, and Shri Rajat Kumar Saini, CEO & MD of NICDC, joined in celebrating this development. - Support Facilities: A skill development center, fire station, administrative office, parking, and commercial spaces.
